We are proud to announce that Rushden Academy has been rated good by Ofsted in September 2022. Rushden joined the trust in May 2018 in special measures; there has since been a significant transformation with tremendous leadership from the Executive Principal. Ofsted inspectors observed “There are strong positive relationships between staff and pupils at this school. Pupils enjoy attending and staff are proud to work at the school. Many parents and carers would recommend the school”. The school delivers a broad curriculum to help students excel in today’s demanding society, and also to develop their imaginations to thrive and make excellent progress in their #TeamRushden journey. As one parent put it, ‘Teachers are focused on getting the best out of pupils.’ Ofsted inspectors observed “All members of this school community are a part of what is commonly known as ‘Team Rushden’. This team encompasses a caring ethos, shared values and high expectations, which exude throughout the school”.
