Celebrating 10 Years of Tove Learning Trust and 150 Community Impact Projects
TOVE 10: A Year of Celebration, Community and Impact
Tove Learning Trust marked its 10th anniversary with a year‑long programme celebrating everything that makes our Trust special: community spirit, creativity, shared purpose and the belief that together we achieve more. Built around four strands — Challenge, Give Back, Reward and Awards — TOVE10 brought together students, staff and families across all 16 schools in a collective effort to make a difference.
Across the year, our schools delivered more than 150 social action projects, demonstrating extraordinary teamwork, compassion and imagination. As the anniversary round‑up notes, these ranged from DIY SOS support for families to well‑being hampers, afternoon tea for elderly residents and the creation of new outdoor green spaces.
A standout moment was the Torch Relay, conceived by students at Sponne School. Over ten days, the torch travelled to every school in the Trust, collecting a unique artefact and a soil sample from each community. These will be sealed in a time capsule and buried at our central offices in Roade, alongside a commemorative tree grown from the combined soil, a powerful symbol of unity and shared roots.
Reflecting on the year, Jamie Clarke OBE, CEO of Tove Learning Trust, said: “This has been a fantastic year where our pupils and staff have really engaged in giving something back to others. This has been embraced astonishingly well, and I am so very proud of what we have all achieved collectively.”
Charities that benefitted from the Tove 10 social impact projects include; Teenage Cancer Trust, Cancer Research UK, RSPCA & the McCarthy Dixon Foundation. Charitable Causes included; Food banks, Support for vulnerable, families, Care home support, Community fridges, Environmental & biodiversity projects, Animal welfare support, Community fundraising events& Hygiene & hardship support.
